Youth group is the perfect place for grades 7-12 to come and enjoy community with one another in a safe environment and learn more about God and our relationship with Him. We have a variety of activities and events to offer that reach kids where they are in their walk with Christ, including Sunday night youth group, Thursday night Bible study, annual mission trips and retreats, and year round service opportunities.

Youth Group

Sunday Night from 6:00pm-8:30pm

On Sunday nights we gather at Calvary for an awesome time of fun and discipleship. We do things like dodgeball, kickball, Top Chef, Jeopardy Night, Family Feud, and Scavenger Hunts. Afterward, we have a lesson and small group discussions. You won't hear a lot of "Don't do this, don't do that" at youth group. We teach the Bible and we teach about how to love God first and foremost. We discuss heavy topics like idolatry, understanding the Bible, the Parables of Jesus, Being a Christian in Today's Culture, and much more. Expect to have a ton of fun, to walk away being challenged, and to make anywhere between 1-25 new friends.

Bible Study

Thursday Night from 7:00pm-8:30pm

There is nothing more important to this youth group than Bible study. On Thursday nights we study the BIble very deeply and carefully. We have recently gone through 1 Corinthians, Micah, Amos, Joshua, Jude, Romans, Luke, and Acts. We don't just teach the Bible, we teach our students how to study the Bible for themselves at the same time. Right now we are studying through Acts.

Sunday School

Sunday Morning from 9:00am-10:00am

During the Bible study hour on Sunday mornings, our youth gather in the youth room downstairs and have an in depth lesson rooted in Scripture and the gospel message.

Mission Trips

Every Summer

We place an incredibly high value at youth group on service and gospel missions. We have 1-2 mission trips every summer that all youth are invited to participate in. We have gone to Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Chicago, Colorado, and Puerto Rico. We also fundraise year-round for these trips by doing service projects like painting and raking leaves, which teaches our kids the value of hard work and service. Not to mention, it helps our mission trip cost per student shrink down to around $50 per person almost every year.

Every Winter and Summer

During the first week of January and the middle of the Summer, we also have retreats for our High School Students to get away from everything and refocus on their relationship with God.
